The quantum-mechanical interpretation of both some classical physical phenomena (diffraction, refraction, absorption, extinction, etc.) and mechanisms of the effects of structural imperfections of objects at issue on these phenomena is presented. This substantially extends understanding of their nature and contributes to efficient use of them for a creation of new functional capabilities in diagnostics of the nanotechnology and medicine objects.
