Electron energy loss spectroscopy is used at investigation of the electron states of amorphous and annealed Fe$_{73.6}$Cu$_{1}$Nb$_{2.4}$Si$_{15.8}$B$_{7.2}$ alloy surface and alloy components. Electron energy losses are measured at changing of the primary electron beam energies $Е_{0}$ from 150 to 650 eV. The characteristic energy loss spectra consist of main peaks, which are interpreted as corresponding to the surface and bulk plasmons, combination surface and bulk loss, high harmonics of plasma losses, interband transitions, and ionization of core levels. The measured energies for the plasmon excitations are found to be in disagreement with values calculated according to the classical theory of the collective excitations in solids. Changes in the intensity lines of surface and bulk plasmons are observed for all specimens depending on primary electron energy $Е_{0}$.

Keywords: amorphous Fe$_{73.6}$Cu$_{1}$Nb$_{2.4}$Si$_{15.8}$B$_{7.2}$ alloy, surface, spectroscopy of characteristic electron energy losses, plasmons, ionization losses.
